| I believe that my other half has just ordered a carte of this lovliness. I look foward to it being delivered (knowing our postman, he will try and push it through the letterbox!) | |

| Got all happy to pre-order until I saw the shipping costs So who's going to be the one that sells it by bottle or at the very least, ships out some empties? | |

We'll have a handful of empties which we can eventually post out to faraway folk. TBH I'd be a bit nervous of a full bottle making it in one piece! The Robinson's contact *did* say individual bottles would be available from the online store- probably once the pre-order crates are dealt with I'm guessing - so those desperate for a transatlantic glug need not despair yet.

| There will also be a BARB beer T-Shirt available, and there is information HERE on how you can win one. It also suggests they will be on general sale at some point, too! | |

| Has anyone tried it yet? It was being rolled out this weekend in a few selected outlets. I would be interested in the opinion of a respected beer aficionado: Over to you, Graham? | |

| Was lucky enough to try some of this on Friday night when I was out and about. We liked it soooo much that we ended up drinking quite a lot of it in Kro.
A lovely beer, not too gassy or yeasty. If anyone has ever drunk Dizzy Blonde, then thats what I first thought of when I tried it, but with a slightly fruitier taste.
Cannot wait for the delivery inot our household.
Oh and if anyone is interested/is out and about, i believe that the boys will be at the Food and Ale fair on the 13th at 5.30 to promote ot, and pull a pint or two.
P.s, sparky......was that you who tweeted me on sat???

Hiya Lillybef. I'm not the mystery tweeter I'm afraid. It's taken me 2 years to get the hang of the forum so tweeting is a bit ambitious for me yet Glad you enjoyed the beer

Not tried it yet Dave - not been into Manchester, however I'm heading into town on Saturday, with The Castle being the first port of call - was gonna wait for it to hit the supermarkets, but yes, Saturday it is - had some rave reviews !

Well, it's definitely worth a try! (I'll leave the technical bit to you MBV on Sat!) Whilst we were waiting for the launch of barb beer, Mr PR143 tried the Old Tom beer, Gee whizz! That's one to blow the cobwebs off, at 8.3%! The people from the brewery were fantastic, they were all so friendly and hospitable. It was good to see the boys pulling the pints. Security was very tight, so it was pretty much straight in, pull a few pints and straight out for them. Couldn't get close enough to get any photo's, so couldn't get them to sign my beer or certificate as I'd hoped. But all in all a great evening! I hope the Elboys managed to get a pint or two to take out with them.

| I was in Manchester today for a course, but decided to not to stay for the launch as it would mean me getting home after 10pm. Did bump into Jonathan from Everything Everything at the Sainsburys Local next to The Palace where I was staying. Really nice chap.

Sounds like a great time you had at the brewery.....I'm not the best to get technical over ale, does it taste nice ? Will it get you pissed in good time ? If it's a YAY to both of them, I'm in. 4% is the perfect strength for me, a nice 5 pints before the match and at least the same after. 8.3%, blimey charlie ! I'd be on that beer scooter back to Bury before you can say 'Turn Vum Garda off this instant !'
