I suppose finishig on "cuddle" is slightly cheerier than "puddle" and hence fits in better with the mood of the song?

I noticed that but then convinced myself that it was me getting it the wrong way round as Guy would never make a mistake like that.

I applied for tickets for 'later' years ago. I never heard anything so assumed I'd been unsuccessful. Anyway, about 2 years later 4 tickets dropped through my letter box. I had to phone to confirm I was able to attend and mentioned that I applied ages ago. I was told that was because there's a huge waiting list to see the show. Looks like they've changed the way they do things now.

Elbow are on Later with Jools Holland tonight at 10pm (11:20 in Northern Ireland) and what looks like a longer version on Friday at 11pm.

(haven't watched it for years, I love Squeeze but there's only so much boogie-woogie piano a man can take)

Well, I can't watch those videos over here, but the cable channel Palladia does run Later... and they seem to have the recent shows on within a reasonable amount of time. So I'll keep an eye out for it, and hopefully it will surface here before too long.

I'm impressed - we got the new Later... featuring Elbow's performances on our tellies this past week. So it was not too long a wait for us this time around! They sounded wonderful. Bestest thing evar: Pete's kids' photos getting featured so prominently on his gear. Just adorable - LOVE!
