| Anyone lucky with the ticket draw? The website says: "If you're successful, you should expect to receive your tickets approximately two weeks before the show date. (Please note that delays can occur because of the late return of tickets, late confirmation of artists or other unforeseen circumstances.)" And it also now says 'Fully Booked' against the 5th April show. So I'm guessing I won't be getting any tickets. | |

| I agree, I watched McCoy wathever his surname is banging away! Nothing was going to stop HIM playing. I've got it on Video and it's very very funny.
Elbow were of course Sublime!

| Didn't anyone else notice that Guy said the last two lines the wrong way round?
He sang:
The moon is face down in a puddle, The moon wants a scrap or a cuddle...
I suppose finishig on "cuddle" is slightly cheerier than "puddle" and hence fits in better with the mood of the song?

| Does any one know if the Elboys are doing two tracks? Normally the artists do two on the Friday show. Hope it's The Birds aswell as Open Arms if that's the case. Could someone post if they are in the know? With any luck we can see a re-run of McCoys extended jazz mix lol | |

Aye, most artists do on the Friday extended show. I've vague recollection of even three numbers sometimes, but that may be going back years or due to a slightly artist-light edition, i.e. padded out to fill. The Friday one is recorded 'as-live' so gets the benefit of a bit of post-production if needed. I'd imagine the Floor Manager wouldn't want kittens again so we'll probably not be treated to a re-run tonight I will upload the Tuesday one to YouTube at some point though...

| Not a huge fan of Neat Little Rows, but just watched on Jools and it was just about perfect.
Lippy Kids = sublime!
Liam Gallagher seriously needs to sort his barnet out, it never changes, he is just one guy I'm really not into, that goes for his music too! Elbow just knocks the socks of him.

I agree Lippy Kids was absolutely brilliant. I thought The Tallest Man On Earth & Raphael Saddiq were really good aswell.

Got to agree really don't like the younger of the Gallagher brothers, can't hear much of a difference with Beady Eye and Oasis, was lauging when Elbow played lippy kids when one of the biggest simian strollers(Liam Gallager) was across the room from them.
