| Thrilling watching 80,000 people eating out of Guy's hands.
What we need now is a series of big, open air summer elbow events for 2012. Somewhere like Old Trafford cricket ground for me; them and Kloot and one or two others. They're at the point where they can do that now: A two hour set, plenty of room for some older material. Bring it home! Get 'em pencilled in for next July!

| Now THAT'S a good idea....
By the way, I was a little disappointed with the coverage tonight, could have had a few more songs on, considering they were billed on BBC3 for the whole hour.

| Thanks MBV and heshofcheese.
Plenty of places in Old Trafford for the older listener to rest his weary legs; coupled with modern toilet facilities, holy turf trodden on by the likes of Clive Lloyd and Andrew Flintoff (albeit hidden underneath rubber matting, no doubt): Plenty of hotels in the vicinity. One day like that would see us right.

| In the annals of weirdness, the local newspaper (the Carroll County Times) has a picture of the crowd for Elbow's performance on page A2.
It's weird because 1) I doubt that many readers of the CCT would know who Elbow was and 2) I doubt that many readers of the CCT would even know what Glastonbury was. Sure, VH1 broadcast Coldplay's performance late last night, but that's a rarity -- and probably the most attention Glastonbury has ever received on this side of the Pond.

| Thanks for that Ticky, they were just brilliant - Guy just has that natural charisma to work the crowd which is somewhat lacking from some of the bands performed this weekend. Hopefully all the folks I told to tune in agreed and may one day appreciate where I'm coming from, loving the best band in the world!! Roll on Beyonce - whoope do..... | |

So, from the coverage I saw, 'Weather To Fly' and 'The Birds' were ommitted.... the video I downloaded and am currently watching runs for over 69 mins and includes all the above setlist + grounds for divorce: the birds bones of you mirrorball neat little rows grounds for divorce tower crane driver lippy kids weather to fly open arms one day like this for the torrent-literate amongst you, head to isohunt and search for glastonbury. it's part of the 'glastonbury 2011 pack'. at a pinch I could probably upload this somewhere over the next day or two. (1.4GB .mp4) peace, stephen edit to add: there are a half dozen oompa loompas in the audience. that is somewhat... disconcerting )
