| As co-founder of the church of Elbow, I suggest that Garve can be Jesus, and the other band members can be his disciples. Instead of a normal church, how about a mosque? Although, I agree with Grant, a monastery and buddha would be good. I also think that that pic should be made into our first fresco. | |

| Our Father, who art in Manchester, hallowed be thy name. Thy Gig come, thy Songs will be done, on earth as it is in Manchester Give us this day our daily Ticket. And forgive us our Drunkeness, as we forgive those who talk during the quiet songs. And not lead us out of the venue, but deliver us to the bar. For thine is the awards, the festivals and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen | |

| Holy sh*t... I make one eensy, weensy little offhand remark, just bein' a smart-ass like I do, and I leave for a few hours...and then I come back and there's a whole CHURCH???!? Wow, Dabamash, you took that ball and ran with it, son! But I am fully in favor of this plan, of course. And MAJOR props for all the creative ideas...Sarah, the artwork was the funniest thing I've seen in ages, seriously...well done! And Dabs, the prayer is perfect and should be the cornerstone of all Elbowist teachings, forever and ever, amen. | |

| OMG OMG sparkly jesus.
Jesus doesn't belong in this thread. I think Jesus would cry if he saw this thread.
Then he would smite us.
Oh, and thanks Chrissie, I try. Generally I also fail, but this seems to have succeeded.

Dude, I wouldn't have even thought of that, let alone known how to do it! You guys are totally cracking me up tonight, for realz! Oh, but I must say, I do not fear sparkly Jesus. I already got my ticket to eternal damnation back when I was being a juveniile delinquent in Catholic high school, and I assure you that anything I do to offend the dieties from here on in is a freebie. It's quite liberating, actually. | |
