hahaha, ''Mondeo Pop'... now that's one genre I like and will bandy about wherever possible.

It doesn't matter if they are called indie or alternative or whatsoever. they are just great!
If someone wants to put them in a categorie so be it.. they are the best of indie/alternative... bands!

I don't think 'Indie' is such a bad tag for Elbow, and their first CD 'The Noisbox E.P' was a genuine independent release of a limited edition of 500 on CDR. All this genre stuff brings me to the recent study done on musical tastes and how they define who we are.... odd to say the least! What genre do you belong to?

ha, so if Elbow are indie then we're all 'low self-esteem, creative, not hard working, not gentle'. I can't speak for any of you lot but the last two definitely don't apply to me... or Elbow, come to think of it! Perhaps they're a blues band!
