I'd love them to play it on the next tour, but if it's going to be spoiled by people gabbing during it, then leave it alone.

That's funny, I was going to say something along those lines as well!!! There's nothing more annoying then hearing people discussing last weekend's football match during a quieter song! Mad

Have been listening to the Abbey Road version over and over - absolutely spellbinding.

The poignant french horn at the end really finishes this masterpiece off.

Yea, and the harp echo on that pianomelody is lovely too. The french horn even reminded me a bit on Dvorak's Largo from The New World... Smile

The way Guy Garvey sings "love you mate"... you can see how much he really means that.
This song is an amazing tribute to Bryan Glancy and the perfect way to end such a great album.

Had to shut my eyes when he sang the 'love you mate' line at the Halle gig. It was the only way I could stop myself shedding a tear.

At first I found this song a bit forgettable... not now though. It's beautiful! The small bits of piano towards the end send shivers down my spine...

Oh yeah, the same for me. Minimalist approach but gorgeous strings crescendo.
