He was on about 10 -15 minutes ago, so you could time it on the iplayer if you want to listen to it.

ok, it's a good song but i expect something special. surely it's a grower. not so radiofriendly.

Not sure i agree with Dano - seems quite radio friendly to me, with the chorus kicking in and with the little ya da da da, da da da tune bit kicking in.

Got an older feel to it, I've said before like Hotel Istanbul - there is sometimes a wee bit of Human League lurking in the background (and thats not a criticism)

Seriously, that was the direction I was hoping to hear in the new album. I know the single's usually the most direct song on the record, but god... It's incredibly good! And I think that the live version it's gonna be awesome.

I've listened to the song several times now and it sounds like a variant of "McGreggor", which is fantastic because I've been wanting another song like that for over 5 years now.

Yeah I agree there's something of McGreggor in there and something of Hotel Istanbul in the background at the start. However, more than anything it's a brand new song.
We've heard two excellent tracks now, it's looking good for the album

it's going better. I like it, but i wanna hear a better version of it. i love those little effects under.
nice stomp-bluesy base. i don't like too much the melody.

The only downside to song premieres is that they happen a month or so before the actual single release, so it's not even possible to get a better version right away. Hopefully the uh... people who receive the promo CDs will be extra kind this year.

but hey, i don't like too much Fallen Angel and Cast Of Thousands is my fave Elbow record.

Well the vocals have been processed. It makes it sound like he's singing through a megaphone.
