| Yeah lol, am leaving them foR a bit, i think. I havn't ever travelled that far to see them, and tried to spread them out so wasn't seeing the same show all the time, and so I could afford it, so like 2 or 3 a tour. Furthest was Paris and Scotland as holidaying anyway. Somebody for LOTFW tour travelled to Istanbul, New York and Amsterdam aswell as over UK for that tour. There other friends (not on here) who have done a fair few too, starting with Reading 2001. Wish I'd been to some more of the earlier smaller gigs. and Festivals. | |

I second that emotion! Definitely got a serious case of "Elbow envy" right now...

Don't understand? Its about the music isn't it? Their music has always been important for me, since I first heard it and has helped me through bad times, when other things wern't working. Their concerts have always been a pleasure, and made me feel better and if I don't enjoy the gigs anymore I won't go, and will put on the CDs instead.

| I'm still planning to do an Elbow UK tour one of these days... when I've saved up enough money, I'm going to go to every single show on the tour. It'll be epic. Who's with me? Good thing they may not be touring here again for a couple of years... need that time to save up! | |

| I want to see then in other countries - go to Holland or Germany, that would be great. Get a group of us and make a little holiday out of it. | |

| Haha! I did a Ste Fretwell tour a few years ago... when he played a short 5-day acoustic run. Absolutely wiped me out, I've gained a lot of respect for folks who do entire big tours! Of course I was working at the time, so it was like gig-at-night, up at no-such-time-o-clock for work the next morning... I think next time I do that, I will just take a month or two off, do it properly... would be a lot more fun | |

| Wish I could have seen them at the Ritz, would have loved to have seen them there. Saw PJ Harvey there and it is such a cool venue. | |

Good thing they may not be touring here again for a couple of years... need that time to save up! Kim, I said before, see if you can volunteer to work on the merch stall for the next UK tour, then you'd get to be at every gig! They can only say no, if they have enough people to man them already.

They can only say no, if they have enough people to man them already. But then don't you miss parts of the gig where you have to work? It would be so brilliant to be involved in some way though... I wonder how you get started in that kind of thing. I don't have any contacts to band management!

The only time I've travelled abroad is for Muse, to both Paris and Dublin. But they were both really big gigs. I would absolutely love to see the smaller venues but I guess the Elboys are getting pretty popular everywhere now? Still the venues abroad would certainly be smaller than MEN. ^_^

Sweet! Dunno about free merch... but we'd get to hang out with the crew a bit I suspect.

| Yeah, you'd *be* there but I'm not convinced you'd actually get to see the shows all that much. :/ And I would still wanna be right there at the front for each gig! Maybe we should start a new thread for our Elbow tour, hehe. | |
