My Dad's trying to move to America, he's had to plan months in advance because of all the legal fidgywidgyness. Not sure how similar Canada is but good luck to the both of you. How exciting!

You know what? This is one of the things I am most sad about. I mean, forget family and friends, when am I gonna see Elbow? Particularly as the job is in New Brunswick, and nobody ever tours there! MrsMT has a similar worry about Muse.

But when you consider moving somewhere where you can buy a five-bedroomed house with 50 acres, a barn with a tractor in it, separate outbuilding (i.e. studio) and a river running through the land, for 200 000 UKP, it kind of makes up for it.

Still, like I say, I'll prob get Osheaga tickets, Montreal is almost driveable, and only a short plane hop anyway.

Congratulations for having set up such a great site, and to everyone who has become a part of this wee community. I remember yearning for somehwere to talk about Elbow, especially after I first heard SSK last year, I wanted to shout from the rooftops how great it was. I can't exactly remember how i found the site, but I do remember there were only a few members at the time and its great to see how its grown.

oh... and incidently congratulation to Jones on her status !!

Yeah, agree with ChrissyBoy, it's a top site and packed with decent people by the looks of it, I'm a new member of 2 months and really enjoy coming on here.

Nah, anyway, happy anniversary MT (?) sorry I haven't been around for the last coupla weeks, but I was really busy the week before last, and last week I was in Barcelona.

It really doesn't feel like a year since I joined...doesn't time fly.

Indeed it is a year to the day, and if it was a joke, it's an elaborate one that has taken quite a chunk of my time.

I'll resist the temptation to click the "Delete Forum" button in the admin panel.

Obviously, my deepest of thanks to everyone who has made this site the wonderful place that it is, and here's to another year.

Aw, Congrats MT on the job and the birthday of this wonderful forum of course. It sure has given me a lot of pleasure over the past year (erm, does that sound a little...wrong? )
