OHMYGOD! ELBOW IN BERLIN AND I edit WON'T MISS THEM

Elbow plays in Berlin on 28th May and this might be the time, when I'm in hospital to get the monster out... affraid

I don't think, my Professor will be amused if I tell him about this. As good as he is, but he does not really take my love to Elbow serious... Crying or Very sad

He always warns me about concerts it might be unhealthy for my chemo and lymphome beaten immunesystem Crying or Very sad

I just hope I will have the meeting with the lung surgeon to clear, if he can take the monster out at all and if yes, how long the whole thing will last...maybe just a few days but maybe weeks?
Please keep your fingers crossed, that I can see Elbow even if I will get surgery...

Do your professor and surgeon give you a treatment plan before it starts again? Just wondering if that might give you some idea if and when it's a possibility to go to the Berlin gig in advance.

And...for such a totally devoted fan, surely the pleasure of the concert would give you an equal boost to your immune system - especially if you can go with someone to look after you? Good luck Smile

Ha, fingerscrossing helped! The surgery will be just after whitsun, that means, I will be there on the concert! Very Happy

Hey TL - I'm seriously thinking about going to Berlin for the show. What's the venue like? Is it a large theatre or fairly small.?

I have never been there yet, it is a quite new venue as far as I know. I hope it's a nice one and I hope there will be no smokers in, especially because I will have lung surgery shortly after! Shocked

You'll be fine, just stay close to the front and concentrate on the band and the music!! Remmeber, we want full details after!!!
I swear my luck has improved since getting into this band - they just exude goodness and happiness and good fortune!! When you go into surgery just have their beautiful music in your head and you'll be fine!!
