| Guy confirmed onstage in Sheffield on Tuesday that they wouldn't be playing Glastonbury this year ("but we will be going...just to enjoy it, like").
Wish they would play Reading/Leeds - it's the only festival I go to!

As Reading and V are so close together they often compete for the same audience. As a result almost all of the bands that play those festivals have a clause in their contract saying that they can't play the other. By all accounts they aren't playing Glastonbury this year to secure themselves a better slot next year. Didn't Eavis say he'd booked a headliner for 2010 at while he was at the NME Awards? Hmm...

| Absolutly gutted that they arent palying Glasto this year. Really had my hopes up of them headlining The Other Stage, especially after last years amazing performance.
And am not going to V this year as cant afford, so will have to make the most of tomorrow night in Blackpool as it may be my only Elbow Fix of the year.

Hmm... never knew that. you learn something new everyday im not to surprised that they won't play glasto this year, even though i'd really love if they did especially if it could be anything like last year that was awesome.
