| I've heard a rumour that Elbow will be playing on 28th July with Coldplay. Can anyone confirm or deny?
EDIT: Elbow are not supporting Coldplay at the Eden Sessions.

If it wasn't for Chris Martin singing the praises of 'Cast of Thousands' lots of people (including myself) would never have started on their Elbow-journey!
I am sorry to hear this gig isn't happening, it would have been great exposure for the boys. | |

| If you are living in Germany and hearing in the radio bad Coldplay-ripoffs with whiny female singers you would be happy to hear at least a tiny bit of the real Coldplay...I really like Coldplay, and if it is only for "Trouble"... Elbow winning one brit award was even not noticed in the bigger german press because everyone stared at wannabe-Dusty-Springfield Duffy picking up 3 ones...  | |

But Colplay gets played a lot, too. To join the whole "Elbow-are-much-better-than-Coldplay" disscussion. I don't know what I listened first. Coldplay or Elbow. Really can't telly anymore. But I own every Elbow album now and stopped buying Coldplay albums after their second one. Sooo, Elbow works for me!!!! *LOL* (Ha, everyone knows that already!) We should start an Elbow thread at a Colplay site. What response would we have there? I started an Elbow topic at the Simon Pegg page, who's a friend of Coldplay. No response yet! So I think we should just leave it... Coldplay are more famous... Elbow is the better band. Tastes are different. | |
