Sorry Grant, no idea. Have a quick look thru your EPG/TV guide, MTV2 should be in most provider packages I'd guess.

Yes it was on - we watched and recorded it! What you got was Guy and Mark on a sofa, talking about their favourite videos, of which you got:

Badly Drawn Boy, Once Around The Block. Guy gave an anecdote about Damon Gough who was waiting outside the Night and Day in Manchester. Mark E Smith from The Fall came out while Damon was there in his car and thinking he was hopping into a taxi, asked the Badly Drawn Boy to take him home. Being Damon, he duly did without wanting to explain.

Jeff Buckley, Hallelujah. An awesome live version.

Cold War Kids, Hang Me Up To Dry. Guy mentioned he'd had the pleasure of speaking to Nathan, the distinctively-voiced lead singer quite recently.

The Doves, There Goes The Fear. As lots of people on here know, the lads are good mates with the' Daves', so they played one of their most stunning vids.

The Flaming Lips, Do You Realize? Wayne Coyne was pronounced 'a gentleman'. This great video is set on Las Vegas' Fremont Street, complete with (Michael and Stephen form the FLips?) two people in giant white rabbit costumes and dancing girls.

Velvet Underground, Venus In Furs. Another great live version, more guitar based and less FX-ed up than the classic studio version everyone knows.

Elbow themselves, with Grounds For Divorce. Guy explained how the dancer the director had hired was very lovely to watch for the hours they spent making the video. He'd also wrecked his hand after smashing the pewter tankard on the table so energetically. eBay person who bought that tankard (assuming it's the real deal), take note - your purchase is the result of a tortured artistic process!

Finally, a choice for Pete T; True Faith by New Order.

A great choice of videos, albeit slightly Manchester-centric but why not? All quality none the less.

Mrs Woman might drop the links onto YouTube at some point so will keep you posted if she bothers to.

I had a quick look but the only one I can see being repeated loads is the Oasis Takeover one!
