Agreed, I'm sure it's fair in terms of vote rigging, it's just UK isn't very popular with the rest of Europe since the Iraq War.

It's not fixed, the problem is one of block voting.
The Balkans all vote for each other, the Nordic/Baltic countries all vote for each other and the Ex Soviet block all vote for each other. With so many points being shared around in groups, those outside of those groups stand sod all chance.

The other countries seem to try properly these days. I remember watchin about ten+ years ago and discovered if you put on teletext subtitles the english translations of some of them were hilarious !
