Agreed, I'm sure it's fair in terms of vote rigging, it's just UK isn't very popular with the rest of Europe since the Iraq War. Frankly, without a Bucks Fizz reunion, we're screwed.

| Did'nt Ireland keep winning until they realised the cost of hosting as winners was crippling them financially.
Even " My little Horse" won

| It's not fixed, the problem is one of block voting. The Balkans all vote for each other, the Nordic/Baltic countries all vote for each other and the Ex Soviet block all vote for each other. With so many points being shared around in groups, those outside of those groups stand sod all chance. Who's gonna vote for us, Ireland and Malta? I'd be amazed if we ever win it again tbh and quite frankly who cares | |

| I think the UK should just give up like, it's getting quite embarrasing. Well either give up or start nagging Morrissey/Radiohead and anyone else who has once jokingly said they'd do it. Didn't Primal Scream say it once as well? All these sodding novelty acts are getting on my nerves. | |

| The other countries seem to try properly these days. I remember watchin about ten+ years ago and discovered if you put on teletext subtitles the english translations of some of them were hilarious !
The best thing about the programme is working out how drunk Terry Wogan is getting.

| It's not fixed. It's just, the panels that vote in most european countries like to take out their political views on us through an entertainment shambles. | |

| Are we talking about the eurovision song contest???? Well if so... Germany isn't very good, too. We have to send German comedians to the eurovision de la chason to get to the top 10. that was amacing.
If we are not talking about the ESC: I like Great Britain and Ireland.
