| Cannot wait for the big day tomorrow! I've been avoiding all concert and setlist posts/spoilers in preparation (though I did accidentally see that one of my early favourites is on the setlist woohoo). Will anyone else be queuing early to get a good standing spot? Hope to see some other forum members there tomorrow . | |

| Had a great time last night - even managed to (mostly) ignore the horrible O2 echo. I thought there was a good covering of the album with 6 new tracks, but still no TTOALOE Starlings was (as always) absolutely epic - sends shivers down my spine everytime. Cheers to Warren for the great ticket. Mike Couple of iPhone pics: | |

| Hi all. The O2 gig was fantastic. I've been looking round for reviews of the show - always interesting to see what the critics (and fans) made of it. This is a good one - http://consequenceofsound.net/2014/04/live-review-elbow-jimi-goodwin-at-londons-o2-arena-416/ - and also gives coverage to Jimi Goodwin. I'm a big Doves fan too and it's good when the support act gets some kudos. All too often they don't get a mention. If you were there on Wed what did you think of the show? Cheers! | |

| We were within 10ft of Guy's arse for those videos seen above. 3rd time of seeing the lads in three years. If Eden wasn't midweek I'd be booking now...
Nice to hear the new album played live which gives some real punch to the likes of Fly Boy Blue and Charge. I love Sad Captains and Real Angel too and their performance of those left me stunned. Their musicianship throughout was first class and was complimented well by the graphics, lighting and media which were marvellous. The sound from where we were was perfect which meant for us the dash to get in early was well worth the effort.
I've seen a few reviews which have said Elbow are lagging and tired and Guy is past his best, which just goes to show music journalism in UK is in a very cynical place as they are so distanced from general opinion. | |
