Is anyone from Newcastle Upon Tyne driving down to Jodrell Bank

Hello,
My Dad and I have tickets for Jodrell Bank on Saturday and were planning to drive down , but due to unforeseen car problems we can now not do this, We were wondering if anyone from our area happened to be driving down, and wouldn't mind car sharing , My dad said he is happy to split fuel costs and driving (clean licence and comprehensive insurance) Thanks
