| Hi,
Both me and my partner are big Elbow fans. We are getting married in the summer and my wife to be would like to walk down the aisle to Mirrorball, I have been looking for a version without lyrics but can't find one anywhere.
Does anyone know where I could find this? or have any other suggestions?
Thanks

| Hi Badcrumble (great name) and congratulations! I have never heard of this, but as a long shot, you could try ringing the BBC - they're always using their music. I'm sure they have some sort of incidental music department - they may be able to help you. I hope you're successful. | |

| Another idea, if you know anyone who's into using audio edit software is ask them to take a longer live version and copy the intro into the verse (it's the same sequence) to get you as long a track as needed. You'd still have to have a little of the chorus vocal if you were going for the full thing, but maybe a strategic lyric or two might actually add to the moment? | |

| I attempted the edit, but I couldn't find the chorus without vocals to stitch to the rest. I managed to trim it just to just "Everything has changed", but I'm not sure you would want that repeated every time the chorus started! Is there an alternative version (live?) where the chorus has no vocals then? Send it my way and I can have a look | |

Heh, I didn't actually say there was one, y'know... Though having said that, the Halle version might give you something to play with, chorus wise. | |

| Maybe it's too late but, an official instrumental version of Mirrorball exists!
It's available on a promo 3 CD set called 'Strictly Background volume 6'. I don't have it personally but it regularly surfaces on eBay and other auction sites.
I hope this helps.
