| My friend and I are currently discussing it, can anyone see Elbow playing any festivals next summer? I know with TSSK they played Glastonbury in 2008 and then T in the Park and V Festival in 2009, fewer festivals in 2012 but any they missed or will they keep the summer free? | |

| Have you heard anything about a gig at The City Of Manchester Stadium? Someone mentioned it again yesterday. | |

| All the festivals!? Even the ones they did last year? My friends and I are going to Benicassim next year and I know they played it last year but we would be on Cloud Nine if they played it again.
City of Manchester Stadium would be cool but I don't get the impression the guys are that into football really, I personally would love it if they did more orchestral gigs in the summer like the Bridgewater Hall one.

| I don't think football has anything to do with it. It's just a venue that's in Manchester and is capable of hosting big outdoor gigs. | |

| Fair enough, me being stupid. I'd love it either way but I'd prefer the orchestral gigs, but them playing at Eastlands would be amazing. | |

| I prefer the small intimate shows too. I'd love nothing more than to see them playing gigs to 400 - 500 people again but that's not going to happen so I guess I'll have to get used to stadiums & arenas. | |

there are a couple of bands who did a serious of smaller gigs when they ended their album promo cycle off the back of the big arena venues... although the smaller venues tended to avoid the area's they played the bigger gigs in... just a hope! plus elbow have form on playing a small gig at the end of an album promo cycle... here's hoping!

I prefer those little venues, too. And in Germany we'll have this chance for a long time if they don't get more famous. On the other hand, they want to play bigger venues also over here. As I talked to Jupp he was a bit pissed about the record company. They unfurtunatelly aren't a big help. It works in the US and Australia he said but not in the rest of Europe...

| Unfortunately Isle of Wight don't do day tickets as I considered getting one when The Strokes headlined. All big UK festivals like Glasto, Reading & Leeds, V, T in the Park, IOW are really expensive. £125 for Benicassim was a steal. I'm considering selling my Beni ticket and going Bilbao BBK now that Radiohead are a Spanish exclusive there but I'll wait and see what Elbow will do. | |
