| OK then, let's get down to the nitty gritty. Who's booking which dates - I don't fancy buying, for example, a ticket for Liverpool, if I'm the only one. At the moment, I'm fairly sure I'll do Liverpool, Cardiff and Manchester (maybe Sheffield, but I haven't decided yet). What's everyone else's planned itinerary? | |

| Definitely Manchester, probably Liverpool
Elbow are the only band that I've seen create an atmosphere at the MEN arena. If you stand near the front and don't look back it's as good as lots of other places

| Definitely Manchester. Maybe another, though MrsW and I haven't really discussed this yet. I'd quite like to see them abroad, for a laugh. Northen voice from crowd would stick out like sore thumb, though. | |

I'm just hoping I don't get too lubricated and remember nowt about the gig's, amazingly Elbow gigs have never seen me get into such a state.....but am sure after the initial jubilation of getting the tickets, it will all die down again until the new year reaches us, and the anticipation shall reach fever pitch again ! The one good thing is I'm the friendliest drunk you'll ever meet, so if you see/hear a bald late 30's slightly over exhuberant Mancunian down the front - fear not - he comes in peace and will be asleep on public transport going the wrong way, within an hour or two.

| Oh boy, I really had the intention to go to a concert in the UK. I looked for the holidays and checked it with the dates.... AAAArgh, missed it about one week. First holidays then the concerts... Would have been pretty cool to see them in England.... | |

I would love to, but as i said on Twitter, all the dates are in term time, and i've had all the unpaid leave i'm allowed (For gigs!) . It's a sad day for me, this'll be the first tour i won't be able to make! I'll keep my eyes open for any special Eden/Somerset house style one off gigs in the summer. Or remortgage my life and sell everything i own to try and get to a festival this summer!

I hope so, a Saturday would be much better than a school night particularly if we wanted to meet up beforehand for a few halves of shandy If that is the case... hmmm. When's the pre-sale?!

| Well I'm definitley buying tix for Manchester, Liverpool and Cardiff. I'm even thinking about doing Glastonbury for the first time this year, 'cos I bet they'll be playing there. Nah - I'd say that's a certainty. | |

| I utterly loathe arenas. I hate the crowds and impersonality of them all. I have vowed never to venture in to one again. I stand by that. I'll be looking closely for more intimate venues or warm-up shows somewhere.
I don't begrudge the boys their success. It's well deserved after all these yearas, but I sadly and regretfully, will not be seeing them in the spring.

| Hoping to get tickets for the 02 and Sheffield. Fingers crossed, with thousands of tickets up for grabs shouldn't be a problem. Will be on the look out for "possible" smaller venues too next year!

| I'll be there. Even though the Arena is an awful venue to see a band.
I've only really enjoyed one gig there over the years, The Who absolutely tore the roof off it a few years ago.

| Another definite for Manchester and Sheffield here.
MEN will only be tolerable if we can get a crowd of us meeting up beforehand again. I loathe the place. Not too keen on the Hallam FM Arena either, but I've been to more gigs there and I'm kind of used to it now.
Anyway, I need to get a shift on if I'm to be at work and logged on with credit card in hand by 9am.....
