John Frusciante's Solo Work. Empty
PostSubject: John Frusciante's Solo Work.   John Frusciante's Solo Work. Icon_minitimeSat 13 Feb 2010, 12:29

People of the no.1 Elbow forum. I bring you something you may not expect.

John Frusciante's solo work is far different to the work he does with RHCP. Oh yes; it is very proggy and ambient. It leaves me speechless, so I thought I'd let you all know. I will admit some of it is a bit hit and miss, so - I shall recommend the 'best' tracks here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRp1G8Po3tM - Unreachable

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9jsRZzjrgI - Central (becomes SO epic after 3 mins)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2Wv9bnBMAQ - Carvel

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdCw_Ob5qI0 - Song to sing when I'm lonely.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIYkjpBgkxk - 23 into end (pure soundscapey)

Please let me know what you think. Remember, he has left the Chili Peppers to work fully on this, so its a big thing. I personally love it. and there so much more of it (around 8 albums).
