| thx to bennyhana22 for this idea. (I think its on radio station as well....) If you had to go to a desert island and your were given an mp3 player, but were only allowed to choose 5 tracks, which ones would you choose? (doesn't have to be Elbow only ) In that situation I would choose: 1. Monday - Ludovico Einaudi 2. Grounds For Divorce - Elbow (had to include somewhere ) 3. Good Times 'Gonna Come - Aqualung 4. Nude - Radiohead 5. City Of Delusion - Muse | |

1. Elbow - Red 2. I Am Kloot - Dead Men's Cigarettes 3. Radiohead - Bullet Proof....I Wish I Was 4. Morcheeba - Small Town 5. Okkervil River - Black

| 1. Genesis - Entangled 2. Great Expectations - Elbow 3. Tiger Lily - The Bluetones 4. Giving Up The Ghost - DJ Shadow 5. Hoping Love Will Last - Steve Hackett
There's probably more, but these have the most plays in my iTunes.

| I'd cheat and stick every Elbow song ever made in a music editor and render the whole lot as one HUGE file. Then I'd do the same another four times with the tracks in a different order. Not allowed you say? Nuts I'm finding this impossible to answer, actually! I think I'd probably choose some l-o-o-o-ong tracks by The Orb, Underworld and Orbital, just to stop me thinking "oh no, not again!" every 20 minutes. | |

| Hold up a sec...The Desert Island Discs program on BBC Radio 4 gives you 8 tracks, not 5....I call shenanigans! But OK, if we are all doing 5 then here are mine; just like everyone else here it's so hard to choose and these could change at any moment: 1. Tom Waits - Hold On 2. Elbow - Jeez, stuck between Great Expectations/Newborn/Scattered Black & Whites. Prolly Newborn though. 3. Bjork - Joga 4. Massive Attack/Elisabeth Fraser - Teardrop 5. Aaron Copland - Appalachian Spring (conductor: Michael Tilson Thomas/San Fransisco Symphony) And if anyone is interested in seeing what Ricky Gervais, Jarvis Cocker and other celebs would choose for their Desert Island Discs, here is the page on the BBC Radio 4 website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/desertislanddiscs.shtml | |

| 1. Atmosphere - Joy Division 2. Reckoner - Radiohead 3. I Am The Resurrection - The Stone Roses 4. (Antichrist Television Blues) - Arcade Fire 5. Transmission - Joy Division
Controversial at the lack of Elbow I know! I don't think this list would change hugely but right now that is what I would have.

| Ted, did you listen to Radcliffe and Maconie last night? There was a really good interview with Stephen Morris about the new Joy Division documentary. Well worth a listen. You can listen again HERE. Click on the link on the right hand side. It starts about one hour in to the show. | |
