I was reading your blog last week, some cool stuff on there (says me, who knows bugger-all about art). TSSK has the best artwork of all Elbow's albums, by far.

my name's Daniela, I'm kinda new here.
I'm 16, from Austria, and have fallen for Elbow some time ago when someone gave me LOTFW. Couldn't stop listening to it for ages then. I was to see them at Novarock Festival 2006, but there was this huge traffic jam and we missed out on them. One of the worst days ever.

calum, I was totally gutted... 'specially when people told me afterwards how awesome it was. I'm still trying to find a way to see them this year, but right now it seems impossible. stupid tour schedule.

Welcome (again)! And don't give up hope about seeing them live...I've loved Elbow since their first album and only just saw them live for the first time last month! They don't come around my neck of the woods often (OK, ever!) and I had to fly to another part of the country for the show. But it was worth it! I'm sure you'll get another chance. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later!

I'm Di from Northampton, UK
Been into Elbow since Summer 2003 (that was a good summer so I recall it very well)
I think they are ultimately my favourites, seen them live twice, once at the Zodiac Oxford- 2005 I think and then soon after at Brixton, both times were awesome, Oxford was just great as I was right at the front.
Not booked to go this year as my other half does not really like Elbow, and don't fancy going to gigs alone

Hi Di, welcome to the forum. I agree, going alone to gigs isn't great, but it seems like it's a common option when Elbow are concerned.
