Yes... people struggle to look past the 'Miss...' at the start of the name.

That's a good point actually. I read it as misspelt meaning spelt wrong. But maybe my subconcious suggested that you were a girl because of that.

Hello, I'm not always lucky with disease. I'm in recovery from OCD and DSV as a serial poster on the other elbow board.
so if I'm finding it difficult I could be on both at the same time!

Hello everybody! My name is Ted and I am glad this place exists because we Elbow fans are a rare thing indeed! A bit about me: I am 19, born in Portsmouth in England and currently at the University of Edinburgh. I saw Elbow for the first time earlier this month at Oxford Academy and I was amazed! It was so good to finally see them live! I was front centre and Guy gave me the mic during 'One Day Like This' and he gave me a wee hug before he went back on stage at the end of the song...it was magic! I have been into Elbow for a few years now. Ever since I picked up a copy of Asleep In The Back in Oxfam by chance in fact. I have never looked back...Elbow will always be a very special band to me. I hope I meet lots of fellow Elbow enthusiasts here!

Hi everyone, I was listening to Elbow and checking facebook and an advert for this forum popped up. Spooky.

I am from Watford, England and was intruded to Elbow by a friend while I was living abroad, I went out and bought Asleep at the Back and fell in love with there music.

I am now back in England and have seen them live several times, the last being Somerset house last year. They are amazing live.

One of my most treasured possessions is a signed copy of Leaders of the free world that my sister in-law got for me. She got to know the Elboys while at uni in Manchester, lucky so and so.

They are my favourite band - have seen them many, many a time and have travelled all over to do so. Absolutely love it. I don't think I ever actaully introduced myself. Since nobody had joined when I signed up.
My friends call me Dav, I play piano (and have done for about 11 years now), I am a keen photographer and spend a lot of my time behind my camera. I have lived in leicester all my life, but it sucks a bit now, so I might move pretty soon. I'm single but looking. Elbow is quite a recent find for me as I first saw them on Jonathan Ross. Loved them ever since.

I don't think I have to go into any more detail as most of you know me quite well now anyway .
