I'll let others answer this as well so we can get some recommendations!

| sorry, that killed the thread didn't it? (no, that's not another question) Erm... favourite thing about summer, or favourite song? My favourite thing about summer is my birthday *cough* two weeks today *cough*... and the long evenings (yes, I know they start getting shorter again in a few days, don't spoil it!) Favourite summer song - well I always used to really hate this, but the obvious one by Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince - just because it reminds me of being 16 again. - Quote :

me too, because I'm too lazy to ask another one and it winds Dabamash up, apparently :p

| OK, the question was, what's your favorite thing about summer...MT gave us his favorite summer songs...and it all spiraled horribly out of control after that! So, what do we do now? Or do we just wait for Dabamash to get cranky? | |

| My fave thing about summer is the hope that we might get a bit of sunshine, and more daylight hours!
Which season do you like the best? I think mine is autumn cos it looks so pretty.
Which season do you dislike the most? Got to be winter for me, too dark, crappy weather, dark and did I mention the dark bit?

Hate winter darkness SAD, miserable, dark in the morning, dark in the evening - horrible. Favourite - Summer, sun, warmth (?), holidays, beer, pool, beach....etc What's been your best holiday ?

| Best holiday had to be visiting Liverpool and seeing all the Beatles sites...that had been a dream of mine ever since I was about 11 or 12 years old! Very cool indeed.
Are you superstitious?

| I'm not superstitious at all - don't believe in astrology, or the old "seven years bad luck if you break a mirror" bollocks - but I do have a couple of odd little habits, like always putting my right shoe on first. I like Guy's line from Mexican Standoff - "I'm not superstitious but if I can get/This ball in the basket, then he'll wake up dead". I used to think like that a lot when I was younger - "If I hear such-and-such a song on the radio today, then such-and-such a girl will go out with me" (she didn't, sadly )... but now I just go by my Auntie's "fifty-fifty chance" rule that there's a fifty-fifty chance of anything happening - it either will, or it won't Do you enjoy your job? Does anyone enjoy their job?! | |

What did you do for your last birthday?

| Went to Glasgow shopping/tour of Celtic Park. Evening drank lots in Edinburgh with mates, one of whom upstaged me by drinking too much and us having to call paramedics. I plan to return the favour!

| I'm supporting whoever wins it; that way I'm guaranteed to be happy! Think of someone who is your friend (do not select your best friend, but make sure the person is someone you would classify as “considerably more than an acquaintance”). This friend is going to be attacked by a grizzly bear. Now, this person will survive this bear attack; that is guaranteed. There is a 100 per cent chance that your friend will live. However, the extent of their injuries is unknown; they might receive nothing but a few superficial scratches, but they also might lose a limb (or multiple limbs). They might recover completely in twenty-four hours with nothing but a great story, or they might spend the rest of their life in a wheelchair. Somehow, you have the ability to stop this attack from happening. You can magically save your friend from the bear. But their salvation will come at a peculiar price: if you choose to stop the bear, it will always rain. For the rest of your life, wherever you go, it will be raining. Sometimes it will pour and sometimes it will drizzle – but it will never not be raining. But it won’t rain over the totality of the earth, nor will the hydrological cycle be disrupted; these storm clouds will be isolated, and they will focus entirely on your specific whereabouts. You will never see the sun again. Do you stop the bear and accept a lifetime of rain? | |

| Sod it. I would let the bear get on with it, rain sucks IMO.
That was the most long winded question I have ever seen.
Here's another boring question from me.
Do you play an instrument, if so, what?

| I do have a USB memory stick. I only use it for work, though, so it just has some really boring documents and spreadsheets on it.
The world is ending. It’s ending quickly, and it’s ending dramatically. It will either end at noon on your fortieth birthday, or it will end two days after you die (from natural causes) at the age of seventy-five. Which apocalyptic scenario do you prefer?

| Definitely the second scenario! Just had my fortieth birthday and I am not done yet! I better get at least 75 years outta this body, or I will be most annoyed.
Which sorta leads me to the next question: Do you believe in reincarnation, or in any type of after-life?

| I believe that our body breaks up into tiny cells which then spread out into the atmopshere and then get reconstituted as other things, like plants, our rainclouds, and so we go on 'existing' forever, but I do not believe in any sort of conscious afterlife, no.

| I'd rather scoop my eyes out with a blunt spoon and have a red hot poker shoved up my rectum than watch that tripe.
Ironic isn't it that in the 1860's a man named Joseph Bazalgette built the London sewer system to take all the shit out of everybodies homes. Now some 160 years later his great great grandson Peter Bazalgette owns Endomol, the production company responsible for pumping it straight back in via BB.
Do you watch The Apprentice
(I can't stand that either but it's the only question I can think of at the moment. Pretty lame, eh?)
