The Who Boys, who are a bootleg/mashup/drum'n'bass act from London, about a year ago (assuming DJs don't count).

I think it was one of their last ever gigs, as one of them moved back to his native Colorado, and the others were a bit pissed off about the smoking ban as they all liked to puff away on stage, so they stopped playing live.

What's your party trick?

Getting drunk and falling over, thinking i'm good at karoake (bloody awful) and becoming irresistable to all women !

Mind you that's not a proper trick - so i'll let someone else answer properly.

Turning my feet almost round so they face the other way. Looks weird but I can do it!

What would your ideal day be like, from start to finish?

It's on my lower back, above my butt, and is a sorta heart-shaped pretty vine creation the tattoo artist and I came up with.

I like it o.k. but kind of wish I had gotten it some place else. Everyone and their sister has one there now. And I hate the fact that when in that location, they're sometimes referred to as "tramp stamps". That bugs me!

Sooooo.....ideal day?

Wake up feeling energised and refreshed. Have a huge fry up. Listen to some great music. Watch Celtic beat Rangers 3-0 to win the league title (Aiden McGeady hat-trick of course). Celebrate raucously with fellow Celts. Meet a wonderful girl whilst celebrating and spend the rest of my life with her.

It's yet to happen but meh...

Occasionally. There are some songs I absolutely love and some I don't have much time for.

Do you listen to radio much?

Only in the car, and that's usually if there's something interesting on Radio 4. There's so much c**p on music radio to wade through before they play something you like, so I discover most of my new stuff via sites like Last.fm.

Do you have a word or phrase you know you say too often? (I find myself saying "wonderful" too much at the moment - I suppose at least it's positive! )

Not that I can think of straight off. I do say 'bollocks' quite a lot. It's one of those swear words that's actually quite funny. I like using 'bugger' as well.

What's the last thing you read?

"The Fish Can Sing" by Halldor Laxness - genius (a word I'm beginning to over-use in trying to avoid saying wonderful too much). He's an Icelandic author and the first thing I read was "Independent People" - a classic, am now catching up on his back catalogue (well, what's available in translation )

On a more serious note though I think it was probably Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I don't read books as much as I used to now.

Oh bugger, two questions! My life is multicoloured at the moment, mainly cos I have a streaming cold but I still have to work, plus I have a telephone interview for a job in Canada tonight.

So long ago I can't remember - probably about 1989. I did sleep in the car in the ferry port after going to see Peter Gabriel in Dublin last year if that counts.

Are you an early bird or night owl?

Both, really. Go to bed at midnight, usually up at 6.30. Not as bad as Thatcher, who only had four hours sleep a night, but when I get a lie in I love it!

Man City....but sadly they're not playing so as a Manc in exile I'll lend my support to Utd just this once (although I actually couldn't give a flying wotsit. Not keen on fopball so I won't be watching ).

It would be nice if one or two of the players were Brits as well. No wonder England never perform. Oh well!!

Told you I knew nothing about football. I thought 90% of Chelsea were foreigners, and most of United too.

hmmm... Guy doesn't have much competition really! Andy Partridge from XTC springs to mind, but they haven't released anything for about six years. Perhaps someone else should answer that one...
