| "And yes I guess I'm asking you to back a horse that's red not blue" Didn't get the deletion/change of lyrics (unless it was a football reference) Sounded half-hearted. | |

| God it annoys me so much people talking at gigs, I always think Christ you must be some important person with something important to say if you can't manage to shut the f~## up and show the performer a bit of respect as well as everyone else there, light a fag and you will be asked to leave, stand happily chatting to you mate and you are ok it would seem | |

| I hate it when people sing along out of tune right next you. I came to heard the band, not your drunken, out of tune warblings. | |

Sorry. On topic, he's clearly a huge fan of the band and is taking loads of inspiration from Elbow for the new Courteeners record... - NME.com wrote:
- The Courteeners have entered Brussels' ICP studios with producer Ed Buller (White Lies, Pulp) to record their second album.
Frontman Liam Fray told NME.COM that the Manchester band recently embarked on a seven-week recording session in Belgium to lay down the follow-up to their 2008 debut LP 'St Jude'.
The singer/guitarist said that the album was partly-inspired by fellow northern band Elbow, and would feature strings and piano.
Fray added that the band had "26 or 27" songs in contention for the final tracklisting, including 'It'll Take More Than A Weekend Away To Fix This Mess', 'Sycophant', 'Take Over The World', 'Sunflower' and 'The Good Times Are Calling'.
"'It'll Take More…' sounds like a [Elbow frontman] Guy Garvey song, if I'm allowed to be so egotistical," Fray told NME.COM. He added that "'Sunflower' really sounds like The Coral, one of the more popular ones, like 'Jacqueline'."
The album, as-yet untitled, is expected to be released in early 2010.

Hah, yeah, i'm looking at you MY! Also back on topic: He seems to be quite good, shame I can't hear him. I think the song will probably seem a little lacking though without a backing choir/quartet.
