| Subject: Who's that birdy? Any hobby bird watcher/listener beside our Garve... Sat 01 Aug 2009, 14:40 | |
| A few weeks ago I heard a bird singing in the forest behind the rehaclinic and wondered what it was. I knew that birdsong very well from an old Pink Floyd-Tune named "Cirrus Minor" but neither in the next Floyd Forum or at an animal forum I could find an answer. So anyone here who knows the bird behind that whistle...? (Craig? If ya here, could you ask Guy? ) http://katrins-elbow-fansite.com/cirrus_bird.mp3 | |

| My guess would be the Song Thrush (Singdrossel in German).
This bird likes to sing two or three repeats of a phrase, then changes to another phrase. | |
