| So, while my heart is with everyone at the Bridgewater, I've been watching the Culture Show as a very small consolation. If you've recorded it you can skip to about 40 minutes in. There is a two second clip of rehearsals at the start of the programme - I got another song spoiler but one I'm pleased about. If you were there on Monday you're first reaction may be "is that it?" cos it's about a 3 minute interview that seemed to take 10 times longer to record! Guy appears a lot less nervous than he did a bit later on (bless). And we're all quite visible in the background! I'm going to have to watch it again now because I wasn't listening to Guy but I was watching out for us lot. | |

| Got home about 1230 last night and watched the show. I agree "our bit" is only about 3 minutes long but when you watch it in freeze frame with mrs sparky going "that's gareth, that's ticky, that's me (she obviously knew that but I do look so different when I'm on telly with Guy and Lauren)that's mr woman, that's mrs woman, that's kim that's nellie, that's anthony.... all the way through the whole cast, it takes about 1 hour 15 minutes It was lovely to meet you all on monday / wednesday. What a thoroughly nice bunch of people you all are. Cheers sparky | |

| My Mum rang me to tell me she had seen Guy on the culture show. She said 'Now I know who Elbow are, they were always on that red button thing, I think they're a bit boring!!' Suffice to say I have now disowned her!!
ps - Mrs Woman I wondered if it was you when I was watching it. You lucky lot!!

| What a week! Was it all a dream? I can't believe that just a few days ago I was stood mere feet away from Northwest Tonight's very own Stuart Flinders. Oh yes, Peter Pinksuit name is Sebastian Horsley. Very strange character: look him up on Wikipedia. He once had himself crucified in the name of art. | |

Oh, no...I'm getting the dreaded "This content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later" message...I often get that when I try to replay Finest Hour as well. Don't know if it's because I'm not in the UK or what - very frustrating! Hopefully I can get it to work before they take it off the site.

| I really enjoyed watching the Culture Show being filmed on Monday. I didn't know the filming was taking place, so was amazed when I got to the Pavillion to see Guy sat at a picnic table being interviewed by the lovely Lauren Laverne. I've long been a LL fan. She looks even better in real life! I passed her in the street after the interview had finished and completely bottled asking her for a picture. Now I'm kicking myself! | |

| I adore what Nellie said regarding his remark about being "crucified by art", and how it was a pity they didn't do a more thorough job. LOL!!! Nellie's repartee is priceless. I think I'd need her with me. I bet she'd be an ace heckler. Nellie, where are you? | |

| Ew. I read the Wikipedia entry on him. He was actually crucified. He sounds demented. America denied him entry, so you see we're not all bad. | |
