Not to intrude on this saga of domestic bliss...but yeah - quite fond of Talk Talk. Also have Mark Hollis' solo disc (the one also titled Mark Hollis) and it is a bit dark, but thoroughly amazing to listen to.

Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock are excellent. I thought I was the only one who had
a) bought the Mark Hollis solo album and
b) loved it.

Nope, I love that solo disc, though I have to be in the right frame of mind to listen to it. It won't do when you're getting ready to go out on a Saturday night, for example...it might work better on the Sunday morning after, though!

I listen to Pandora online radio sometimes, and that's where I heard the track The Colour of Spring a couple of years ago. I was so knocked out by it that I tracked down the disc...very glad I did, too!

Actually, I was at the 4:30 AM, can't move stage with a friend of mine last weekend but I think we somehow missed the "blissed out" part. It was more like two middle-aged broads trying to stay awake long enough to get home! Oh yeah, I'm cool, baby!

Dammit, everyone needs to stop being so nice to each other (especially me). We've all gathered that most of us are not the type to be offended. It's amazing how many times me and others have said "don't take offence". Don't take offence from that btw.
