Anybody enjoying the new disc (Merriweather Post Pavilion) as much as I am?

Hell yeah! Shame the thread I made went untouched. Sad But yeah... Merriweather to me is the best thing they've pulled out, could be my favourite of the year even! Saw them January on the day of release in London... and seeing them in leeds next month! Very good music Very Happy

Hey Johnny! Sorry dude...didn't see your previous thread! It was a bit buried down there and I guess I didn't look far back enough - my bad! Embarassed

You'll need to report after you see their gig - I'm curious to know how well they pull off all these sounds in a live setting. I'll admit, I never was a huge fan of theirs in the past, though Person Pitch (solo album by AC's Panda Bear) is one of my fave releases of the past several years. But this album is really impressive. Not everyone's cup of tea I realize, but I think it sounds great.

Yeahh. When I saw them in January I hadn't heard any of the new material, but I thought it was by far the best stuff of the night. Which was lucky cuz it took up most of the set. Laughing I'm looking forward to seeing them again, this time knowing the songs very well indeed. Smile
