| Hey everyone, Just wanted to drop in, say hi and say that the Sheffield gig was the best I've ever seen Elbow. Can't find enough superlatives to describe it! To get a taste, have a look at a bit of filming I managed to do. Surprisingly good sound, if you don't include my very bad singing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0zh4hb3ReUEnjoy! H | |

| Yo, Dabamash...Lay off the puppy already! Freaky wigs are a legitimate lifestyle choice, even for canines, so don't be a hater! But seriously...hilaryg, that was awesome! Thank you so much! Man, watching stuff like that has me practically salivating for the Chicago show. TWO MORE WEEKS!!! | |

| Wow. That is magnificent! Thanks so much for sharing, Hilaryg!
P.S. Puppeh looks a bit worried about herself in that pic...a wig addiction, perhaps?

| Methinks the wig dog is going to require a thread of its own soon...love it or hate it, we are all drawn to it like moths to a freaky flame! ALL HAIL WIG DOG!!! | |

| That's why Wig Dog needs a new thread! Although if world domination is Wig Dog's goal, we might need to be veeery careful... | |

| It'll start off as a simple thread and go on to become world domination! | |

| this was an awesome gig... one of my all time top gigs ever i reckon!
Did a bit of a review on the facebook page, I have pasted it for your reading pleasure!
Elbow are just an incredible live band. This gig was the 5th time I've seen them live, and they have got better with every gig... last night was probably the best gig I have ever been to.
I can't pick fault with any aspect of the show... from huge songs such as Newborn, Grounds For Divorce and Forget Myself to sweet tender tunes like Great Expectations and Mirrorball (arguably set highlights for me), every member of the audience was transfixed by the bands incredible performance. Everything about the gig was spot on - Guys incredible vocals coupled with his on stage banter in between songs put him down as one of the best frontmen I have ever come across.
I would also like to give a huge thumbs up to the sound guy as the sound was as near as perfect as you'll hear at a gig.
Elbow are surely one of the most understated bands of recent years, but I kind of like it like that... go see em!
