A Christmas Message From Elbow
Hello, how are you, Happy Christmas, mantra luna and hi.
Bloody hell what a year! Just thought I'd drop you all a line to thank you for this year and all of those years previous. Starting with our 4th 9 out of 10 in the NME, the most amazing Glastonbury and then the Mercury... none of us were expecting all of that.
There's no chance of us ever getting our head around what's happened, but we appreciate all your love and support.
We're going to be working a bit over the Christmas period on another record, but cant wait to see you in the spring.
We've got some tricks planned for the next tour, but rest assured the rumours of the formation dancing are entirely false (only people with 3 legs can dance to our music) i.e. Rolf Harris and anyone from the Isle of Man.
I know Xmas can be stressful, but if you get chance to listen to any of our stuff over the period I recommend a good Irish whisky and some dark chocolate to accompany it.
Happy Christmas you lot.
Lots of love, Elbow. | |

Lots of love, Elbow. Formation dancing? Do you fancy Disco, Country...or maybe a bit of Classic or Charleston? You lot look pretty nifty here. http://elfyourself.jibjab.com/view/e043ihCzNkdDo4Ed -disco http://elfyourself.jibjab.com/view/pp0GrdBcs1bQZyor - country | |

| Yes, they are viewable over Christmas and into the New Year, but if I wanted to keep the elbow boys that I made (with the help of 'elfyouself' ,of course) dancing permanently I would have to pay! Still....reminds me a bit of Powderblue Mod's Christmas Cartoons...though I never saw anything quite like hers before, or since! | |

| On MMT'S version, GG'S expression while he is doing the Charleston is most apt My favourite bit of all of elbow dancing together is Country dancing gone sexy, yet slightly bored with GG swinging his legs to and fro whilst perched on top of a haystack, followed by the brothers, Craig and Mark skipping by, arms entwined with moody stare, then Craig finishes by doing a cartwheel. Am I right in assuming these are all MMT'S favourite men to do some boogie with? | |

| What I like most about the All-Elbow-Dance is the pokerfaces combined with those hillarious moves...especially Guy, love his half wrinkled forehead | |
