| Thanks so much for the heads up on this!
Really exciting to hear the boys revisiting their older stuff - the opening notes of I've Got Your Number almost brought tears to my eyes. - anyone else hoping they might bring some more diverse material to their setlists for the spring tour?

Hi, Eag, I recognised your balloon from PB That song DID bring tears to my eyes, last time I remember seeing them play it at a gig was when they did a dedication to the fans on Powderblue site in its heyday back in 2004 So yes, I expect there are a lot of people coming to gigs now who havn't heard much live of the first two albums (or those b sides ) and "Jolie-laid" -Embrace the shadow. Life becomes more beautiful, when there is a bit of ugliness in there too, (as there was in previous albums) so when you finally have a really great time, you really appreciate it!

| I think it would be wise for Elbow to go on the back catalogue offensive during the tour. Bouyed by the success of SSK they could drum up some interest in their previous albums and sell more copies. It makes business sense but it also treats fans to some stuff they might not have heard before. | |

| How long are Wembley sets usually? Would still be something if they played the whole of TSSK in order for part of the Wembley show, and diversified a bit on the dates before, playing some surprises instead of the 'greatest hits'. | |

| Very cool! I was quite disappointed back when they didn't play Picky Bugger on the Leaders tour. This is great news | |

Well presumably, if you're not doing it commercially and run off 10,000 copies charging £50 each it should be ok, shouldn't it? Was just thinking it would be such a shame if it got lost forever once it's taken off...

Aw... I was only going to charge a tenner. I'll give it a go tomorrow, but if anyone wants to do it before then, please do! Me and technology don't always get on!

| Thanks for the link; I'd missed this and have just spent a lovely half hour listening. Looking good for the tour, as they were talking about revisiting the back catalogue a bit more - perhaps we might get some "oldies" or ones they haven't played live before on this tour? (Please? ) Anyways I recorded the session songs, not very good quality but in case no-one else manages, I've got your number; Grounds for divorce and Picky Bugger. Enjoy. | |
