Why no Birmingham...again

They played Birmingham in April!
... believe you saw them in Leicester, Manchester and London last month's Uk tour?
We should appreciate that they are even doing these Uk dates early next year, when they have spent the majority of this last year from feb/april onwards on the road, and are thinking about the next album/projects etc...
In march, they are mostly seaside venues ("4 corners") ...and there is the Sheffield token if you want inland.

Yeah and I saw them earlier this year: went down a storm.

It's just that my wallet needs a rest from all this expense!

Apparently I managed to miss them doing an instore for the launch of Asleep in the back' in my local record shop ....walking distance from my house would you believe? (not even in London or Manchester, it's Kent!...gaaah! gutted when ever I go in the shop to get my next elbow release, bloke in the shop still boasts about seeing them then

Anyway first time I managed to get to a proper elbow gig (apart from festivals) was the live launch of COT at the Scala, Kings Cross in July 2003. Before they toured in the autumn. I was standing literally, directly in front of Mark(small venue) ...he used to stand on the side where Pete does now, and they were all very sweaty and nervous. Bammo(their guitar tech then) was a darling and got them all to sign my very first elbow setlist, (the avatar)

Sorry thats a bit off topic, perhaps we ought to have a topic about the first time we saw elbow...

Saw them at the sage. ordered my ticket for the newcastle gig tonight. roll on march
