| What did/do you make of it? ... ... just vote in the poll, eh? I personally am a HUGE Blur fan. I just finished reading Alex James's glorious autobiography, absolute class. Like the albums. My favourite being '13'. | |

| I'm definitely a bigger fan of Blur, but I'm glad Pulp is in the lead. They've made some great music and should get more recognition for it, rather than being 'the other one' in a movement Jarvis wanted nothing to do with. [/rant] | |

| Blur, deffo. "Country House" was shit though.
Oasis - first album was brilliant, then they just became a parody of themselves. Pulp had the best frontman and lyricist of the lot, but I don't know if I'd sit down and think "Ooh, I'll listen to Pulp tonight" - although "Something Changed" is a fantastic love song, up there with the best bits of Elbow imho.

| Oasis are one of the most over-rated bands ever
...but I'm still gonna vote for them, because I think they're the best out of the three; they're just not the greatest, most incredible, perfect thing that the world has ever seen - like they think they are.

| It's again the vocals-thing. Liam Gallagher sounds like a Mutton "May-baaaaaaaaaaaaahhh" Jarvis a bit too cheesy though I like "This is hardcore" Damon is more my style | |

| I completely agree with you there, TL. Damon is brilliant... and so is Graham. Like in Coffe & TV. Coffee & TV is a marvelous song... miles better than anything Oasis could ever hope to produce. | |

| This is Hardcore is also my favourite, or maybe We Love Life i'm a bit of a cheesey guy really I love Jarvis though going to see him soon anyway, i don't understand why such a big deal was made over Different Class, it is by no means, their best album | |

| Jarvis is a pretty wicked pretty guy. I admire him, in fact.
I think Pulp's best album is This Is Hardcore... title track definitely Jarvis's best song. And though Different Class is probably overrated, it is a splendid album.

| I really liked what I heard of Jarv's solo album (only heard it once though, I need to trawl through last.fm to see if I can hear the whole thing). And for all their macho posturing, no way would Noel or Liam have the bollocks to write a song called "C***s Are Still Running The World". Mind you, Oasis have pretty much been the establishment for the last 11 years or so | |

| I'm holding out for a new Blur album. With the rate they're getting along, it's not entirely unlikely. New Blur music would be interesting if nothing else - they've all become interested and involved in such diverse areas of music and life, it'd be quite a cocktail! | |
