Live on Absolute Radio (11th Feb)

Absolute Radio are advertising the gig at the Hammersmith Apollo on 11th Feb. They're saying that they will be broadcasting the show live from 9pm.

Initially I said it was on the 12th, but actually paying attention it turns out that it's on the 11th.

Hi ekimq, Absolute Radio is broadcasting the show on 11th Feb, at least this is what Elbow's facebook page said yesterday:
"elbow's Hammersmith Apollo show on 11th February will be broadcast in full on Absolute Radio.
Tune in on digital radio or listen online at the link below."

I hope they'll allow the download of the podcast too: I'll be already in London that night but I won't be able to listen and I would love to, since I heard this afternoon (@Rad&Mac on BBC6 music) they will slightly change the setlist each night...

I'll be recording via DVBS, will post in scattered FLAC & sights over the weekend !!!

Nice one! I grabbed the audio stream but sadly the opening track is full of glitches. :-(

thought it sounded great on the radio last night, not something you hear very often these days (live gigs on the radio!)... my skills at recording off the radio are limited to pressing the record button on my old tape decks (so very 80s!) so i hope someone else had more luck...

I was at the gig last night, wondered why Mr G deleted the word s***  from night 1. As the gig was being transmitted it has to be family friendly of course!

Will look forward to the link for the show being posted. Ah..... to relive the last week!

Some bad news friends. A DVB capture was not possible. When I tried to record the stream via PC I discovered that Absolute have blocked listening from outside the UK, after a few panicky moments I found a link to get a live stream which I was able to capture, only quality of 128kbps but better than nothing I guess. Disaster occured when the stream cut after 50 mins but a quick reload meant I only missed Grounds For Divorce. The Stream cut again during the encore break and would not reload AT ALL for me, so unfortunatly missing the encore and also Grounds For Divorce from during the main set. I shall be posting over the weekend.............

That's such a shame I was there on Tuesday night and the gig was EPIC. Was really hoping for a full recording Maybe someone else managed to grab it...
