Got one in the back room for me in a shop in Burnley to be picked up on Wednesday. Upon hearing the lack of b-side, I'm starting to reconsider...

Completely smooth? For that much cash? Goes right along with a story I read the other day. After only reading the headline, I felt slightly indignant. After finishing it, I think I agree.

Crazy money alright, dunno how prices are figures out ??, compare it to Jake Bugg 4 Track 12": €7, or The Strypes 4 Track 7": also €7, €13 just doesn't make any sense. I had a €100 budget for the day and a list of around ten discs, I didn't get everything I wanted and only spent half the budget, but refused to pay that for the Elbow single..............

That's crazy, especially given Elbow's love for "b-side land" and given how great their b-sides are. There must have been some songs recorded that didn't make it on to the album, and this fancy etching must be more expensive?

Bit silly to own a 7" - whose a-side already features on the album - if only to be able to say that you own it.

Yep - of the album cover cherub. I'm tempted to try and play it but I assume it will ruin the needle

Assumption on my part, I just took it that with being only one track that the b-side would be smooth as with other single track RSD releases.......

I had a dream the other night that Guy was round at my house and I asked him of the lack of b-side, he said... "The album was created in one go so there weren't any other tracks"

Read into that as you will Laughing
