Still, I applied... likelihood of actually winning tickets is pretty slim. xD

Managed to get home from my evening-do just in time to watch the Live stream. Here we go!

Great gig, wish I had been there! I have to say, the video and sound quality of the stream was really good, though a full-screen option would have been nice. Didn't spot any familiar faces in the crowd shots - were any of you lot there?

I'm sure we all know it by now but Guy told the story of Puncture Repair again. Thought I'd get it down in words, got most of it but he was talking quicker than I could type.

"My heart was broken. The only person I knew would be awake, at the time of the morning that it was, was Richard Jupp our drummer because he had a tiny baby. Who's now 10. So I called Richard and said "My heart's broken!" and he came and got me, took me back to his house, put his baby in me arms, made me a cup of tea and listened to me blub for a few hours. And a few days later, me and Craig wrote this."

I enjoyed listening to this while I made a Playmobil school house for my daughter as a reward for sticking with the unifrom and the rules for the first time this week. I say listened as the itunes video feed was just a series of stills for me.


I am so glad they are doing High Ideals live. It's Ravelian beauty should not be confined to the studio version. I am surprised that there were no b-sides in the set tonight.

Think that might have been a problem with iTunes rather than the feed - mine started doing that partway through but was fine again as soon as I restarted iTunes.

I haven't got the latest version of i tunes, I haven't got round to downloading it yet...wonder if that's the difference?

Anyway, for anyone who missed it, the gig is still available to watch again on i tunes.

Ah that's good news! Might go back and try and find Craig nearly falling off his riser at the end, according to his twitter. xD

Hmm there's a fullscreen option in iTunes on the Mac but not the PC...seems Apple like to favour their own products.
