Pete's gear

Hi everyone!

First post on here, I'm Alessandro from Naples(Italy), such a big fan of Elbow! What I'd like to know is something about Pete's live gear...well I'm a bassist and I feel that Pete is actually one of the best rock bassist in the world. So...I know for sure that he uses Mesa Boogie amps and cabinets and a vintage black Fender Jazz Bass, but what about his pedal effects?!? Synthesizer? Distortions? Over-drive? Some chorus or flanger? Please, if you get these kind of infos tell me, I'm not so lucky because the guys are not so famous in Italy (of course, italian modern music sucks!) and I can't watch 'em play live, so I need to know from you.

I think the best thing to do is to ask him directly, I think it's easy to see them at the aftershow in Italy because as you said, they are not as much popular as they are in England for exemple, and Pete is so kind and open to people that I'm sure he will answer you with a lot of pleasure, he is too often ignored, like all bassist so people who are interested in bass are always welcomed with him.

Hahaha... Poor bassists. I love Pete as much as I love Adam Clayton from U2, so you are not ignored.

Btw. I unfortunatelly haven't met him cause he didn't come out after the show... :/

I'd be honored to ask him but I'm scared that there isn't any scheduled Elbow show in Italy for the next two years....

btw, any idea 'bout which kind of effects he uses in Neat Little Rows?!?!?

No idea about his effects pedals, but his little synth is a Mini Korg. So someone on YouTube explained, anyway.
