Don't suppose anyone here reads the wonderful Journal Of Strange Phenomena that is Fortean Times? (http://www.forteantimes.com/)

I remember Ceri (lovely Welsh lady who I've met at several gigs) mentioning that she read it, though not sure she's on this forum. I grew up reading the mag and watching X-Files so have always had a penchant for the weird and wonderful!

As a bonus for any point'n'click gamers out there, I just found out FT had a cameo in one of the recent Sam & Max games. Very Happy

I had a subscription to Fortean Times up until 4 or 5 years ago, but I let it lapse and never quite got around to renewing it. A timely reminder; Must buy it next time I'm in Tesco! I thank the magazine for introducing me to the word "simulacrum".

What I like about FT is that it neither believes nor derides the world of the metaphysical, merely reflecting the phenomenon of reported weirdness in the world.

I'd love to see a ghost or a flying saucer, but I'm still waiting alien

Yeah I like that the tone is neutral and leaves you to make up your own mind.

Have to admit it's a bit of a shameless plug... I have family connections to the mag. I've picked up a rather embarrassing habit of, whenever I'm in a shop that sells FT, spreading copies of it around all the other sections so more people see it. XD

You'll be bringing along a few free copies to the MEN, then? Very Happy
