| Subject: Tickets - can anyone swap Manchester for London? Fri 11 Feb 2011, 18:43 | |
| Hello, I have 4 tickets for the London show on Monday 28th March but we've recently moved to Cheshire and are desperate to see the band in Manchester instead. I only need 2 tickets but I'd be prepared to do a straight swap (although my 4 tickets are in two pairs on different levels at the O2). I really don't want to go down the ebay route - it would feel like a betrayal, knowing that Elbow refuse to rip off their fans with over-priced tickets. Any other ideas also gratefully received. Best wishes.

Hi, a lot of people seem to use ebay, so couldn't you make it clear in your listing that you wanted 'face-value' - what you paid, plus postage, whatever, or offers, or do 'buy it now' for elbow's advertised ticket price price? There is also a section on this forum bottom section for selling/buying/swopping http://www.scarletmist.com/ is a free ethical face value fan-to-fan ticket-swap service for Music Festivals and Concerts. Of course if SEE or other ticket agencies ever did like for like exchanges on the same value tickets for different venues that would help us out of these situations, where we have paid for confirmation emails 6 months in advance, and then by the time they are actually dispatched to us as tickets, our circumstances may have changed. Hope you get sorted. | |

| Thanks for the reply - I'm just afraid that if I list the tickets on ebay at face value, they'll be bought by someone who'll sell them on for profit. I'll have a look at the sites you suggested. Cheers | |
