| Anyone know anything about this? What are the chances of elbow pitching up at the launch shows? - makonline.org wrote:
- Jo has been busy compiling the second Manchester album, '10' and it’s ready!
In 1999, Pam Dawes put together the MAK compilation album, Cohesion, showcasing Manchester’s emerging musical talent including Elbow and Doves. 10 years later MAK's second Manchester compilation, 'ten', curated by The Travelling Band’s Jo Dudderidge, will be released on April 4th 2011.
Elbow and Doves have again provide sublime tracks for the compilation alongside more of Manchester’s diverse talent, including Cherry Ghost, Liam Frost, The Travelling Band, Nancy Elizabeth, Josphine Oniyama, Jo Rose and Gideon Conn.
The album will be sold as a CD and digitally via Essential.
Tickets for the album launches can be obtained via The Deaf Institute, Manchester (April 4th) and Union Chapel, London (April 7th, 2011) | |

| The Elbow contribution to the album appears to be "Some Riot" from the Abbey Road concert, based on the CD's cover artwork. | |
