If there's Lush freebies on the tour and the band are all wearing fur suits, we'll know it was an official tie-in.

They must be desperate too! Lush online got hacked and people were either not getting their orders or some of their credit cards were being charged for other stuff they hadn't ordered.

I thougth first too they are bears but I saw that calender in time... Well, lemmings are said to be suicidal but these ones are happy. Quite similar to our Elbows, who are called miserablists but sounded very happy with that song...
I thought, this song might have fitted quite well on that planned children's record because this lush ad is the second time (that I know) where dolls sing Elbow...

Funnily enough, the lemmings suicide is a myth, largely created by Disney, who threw lemmings off a cliff and filmed it to to make a movie.

Lemmings?!? Really? Whoa, I got that one way wrong, didn't I? I had never seen these characters before - honestly, I'd never even heard of Lush Cosmetics before this - so I had no idea!

I did see the calendar too, TL, but I didn't know why it said something about lemmings when these were so obviously bears!. Didn't even think for a second that the little puppet dudes were lemmings, cause the lemmings I know look like this:
Well there ya go - I've learned something new today!

Now at last I understand why the 25th of January was noted as a "blue monday" I'm afraid much customers could not smile about that cute video because of their credit card trouble...

Read that at wikipedia today... And frightingly it was not the only time he killed animals for a "cool" scene...that poor lynx in "Living desert" who jumped on a huge cactus was chased up there from the film folks and had to be euthanised afterwards because of the cactus spines in his body
But still I think, those lemmings dancing to Elbow are really cute and I wish I had a "living puppet"-Lemming...
