| I was very much taken with The Defamation Of Strickland Banks - I'll always give a concept album a good listen. I think it's a great collection of tunes but he comes across - rightly or wrongly - as being very belligerent. We've had all that before with the Gallagher brothers (arrogance based on a perception of being better than you are or ever could be) and it was boring then.
As someone who has to like the artist as well as the music (a real failing on my part) I won't be waving any flags for him. | |
