RIP Frank Sidebottom - Northern Legend

Frank sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning after collapsing - he was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Saw him twice in the 90's at Manchester Uni and Douglas, Isle Of Man - where I and countless other Man City fans packed a bar there and had an absolute ball - smiles everywhere - and that was what Frank was all about.

RIP Big Frank - we'll look after Little Frank for you....x

So sad to hear about Fantastic Frank's sudden decline, especially after he was auctioning 'Bald Frank' art for cancer research with typical good humour.

Something of a double whammy to hear he was so skint his family were having to consider a pauper's funeral . Thanks to a Facebook "Frank's Fantastic Funeral" campaign, it looks like that will be avoided.
