| Just ordered tickets for Midlake at the Cluny Newcastle.
I'm not all that familiar with their work but what I've heard, I've enjoyed.
Anyone on here a fan? | |

| I got their record "The Trials of Van Occupanther" and I really like it. A beautiful kinda oldfashioned cross between Crosby Stills, Fleetwood Mac and mellower Radiohead | |

| I love them, one of my favourites. Trials is a beautifully crafted album, their story telling abilities are remarkable. Banman and Silvercock, is very different from it's successor, but it's a grows on you slowly.
I got tickets for London too, I cannot wait, it's been a couple of years since I last saw them last, i think it was Latitude Festival or the Bella Union gig at Festival Hall.

Just heard Act of Man, for the first time, love it. Bought Van Occupanther last weekend, mainly on the hype to be honest, not listened to it yet, but TL's comments above I totally get, esp the mellow Radiohead bit.
