| Tonight: A bit of Stevie Nicks (Edge Of Seventeen is a fave), some Morricone (Once Upon A Time In The West soundtrack) and Tony Banks (keyboard player with Genesis) solo work. |

| 14 min version of Blues for Ceausescu by The Fatima Mansions.
Blimey, talk about a sledgehammer to the head! The angriest band ever? This is 6 miniutes of ferocious hard punk rock guitar feedback, lurching rhythm and bile, a pause for breath then an 8 minute techno workout with blasts of distorted guitars and snarled vocals. Brutal but horribly addictive. A bit like Joy Division fighting with The Fall after taking a ton of steroids, with New Order joining the party half way through. And being grumpy.
Phew. | |
