Hoping to see you all at Blackpool & Wembley

Mr W took very ill early on this month, ending up with brain surgery on 12th. The op went well and he was discharged on Tuesday, but unfortunately has had to go straight back in due to complications. Please cross your fingers that he'll be well enough to catch at least one of the gigs and show off his impressive scar!

Big, big thank yous & love back to you guys: I've been passing on the messages which have helped cheer him up no end. He's doing a little better each day, still with lumbar drain in place though it's now locked off to see if he can re-absorb the excess cerebro-spinal fluid/'brain juice' (!) on his own without any external help. The secondary infection's clearing up too. All being well, he might be out later this week with some seriously sedate resting up in prospect back home.

After yesterday's hospital visit, I was on orders to go down the road from where he is to the Blackpool gig and get as many photos as possible to report back. Fantastic gig of course, made all the more moving & special by the lovely people there who sent their kind get well wishes too.

Meanwhile, the man himself should be making good use of beanies for some time...
