| I punched the air in delight from my settee, when they won !! However, they didn't need to have won this award for us all to realise what a special band they are. Pleased for the band though, it's validation of years of graft and perseverance, I bet there are a few sore heads this morning !! And yes, Garvey and The Hoff, slightly bizarre wasn't it ? | |

| Big congrats to the lads for winning this award hey, fully deserved!! What's even better is that Coldplay was nominated to for 4 awards and got NONE!!! hahahaha And for u coldplay fans: No, I don't hate Coldplay, think Parachutes is a great album, but the rest of them aren't really that good, and winning 3 grammy's for their last one??! wtf?! That album was a real stinker.... All hail the Elboys! | |

| I think of the 3 categories Elbow were nominated in, they won the best one for raising their profile. | |

| Well done Elbow for the Best British Band award. We we're 'lucky' enough to have tickets for the show and cheered like crazy when they won. The people in the row in front turned round and gave us huge smiles. Shame the security staff weren't so friendly! The paying audience were kept in a tunnel for nearly an hour before being allowed to their respective seats and were then kicked out as soon as the show finished. Most places that charge £75 - £95 to enter would treat you like royalty...but not Earls Court | |
